Did you ever think whether your words are positive or negative? Did you ever observe whether your words are motivating or demotivating? Let’s dig deep and discover how can we change our negative self-talk to positive affirmations to live happier, feel confident and achieve success. A man once telephones Norman Vincent Peale. He was despondent and told the reverend that he had nothing left to live for. Norman Vincent Peale invited the man over to his office. “Everything is gone, hopeless, the man told him. I’m living in the deepest darkness. In fact, I’ve lost heart for living altogether. Norman Vincent Peale smiled sympathetically.  Let’s take a look at your situation, he said calmly. On a sheet of paper, he drew a vertical line down the middle. He suggested that they list on the left side the things the man had lost, and on the right, the things he had left. You won’t need that column on the right side, said the man sadly. “I have nothing left, period.” Norman Vincent Peale asked, when did your wife leave you?” What do you mean? She hasn’t left me. My wife loves me!” “That’s great!” said Norman Vincent Peale enthusiastically. “Then that will be number one in the right-hand column – wife hasn’t left. Now, when were your children jailed?” “That’s silly! My children aren’t in jail” “Good! That’s number two in the right-hand column – children not in jail, “said Norman Vincent Peale, jotting it down. After a few more questions in the same vein, the man finally got the point and smiled despite himself. “Funny, how things change when you think of them that way”, he said.  So it’s about how you want to see your life, and how you perceive each situation or incident you went through. Hard times could be perceived as obstacles and could be perceived as challenges, not succeeding in something could be translated as failed or could be accepted as a learned lesson, exactly like the famous example of the glass half full, some people perceive it as half full and others are perceiving it as half empty although it’s the same glass.    Some people think that telling themselves that they are not good enough, not ready, or not qualified will push them forward but usually, success starts from positive thoughts, self-confidence and a feeling of self-worth, as positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. Here are some steps and techniques that help you acquire a positive mindset: 1.Start your day with a smile: Decide how are you going to make your day the best day ever, what is the difference you are going to make in the world, and it shouldn’t be a huge thing, it may be as small as smiling to someone in the street, helping an old women holding heavy stuff, or delivering quality work. 2. Feed your mind with positive validation: Like reading your testimonials daily, keep a kind word folder, asking your friends and collogues about your strengths, or going through your latest achievements. “A man is but a product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes.” Mahatma Gandhi 3. Rephrase your words: The words you are using and the way you are talking makes a great difference in your progress and your life in general. Monitor your words and your way of talking and once you find yourself speaking negative words or in a negative way, pause and rephrase your talk, for example: Instead of saying I can’t speak in public, you may say I need to work on my public speaking. Instead of saying this is my weakness, you can say this is the area I would like to develop. Instead of saying I failed in this, you can say I have got to learn a new skill. Instead of saying I have obstacles on my way, you can say I have some challenges that I am going to face. 4. Focus on what you are good at not on your weak points:  Acknowledge and embrace imperfections, as we are not supposed to be good at everything, so don’t stress yourself with the things you can’t do, on the contrary cheer yourself up for the things you are good at. “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.” Edmund Hillary 5. Be grateful for what you have:  The 24-carat is an Arabic belief that everyone has a 24-carat, which means that God gives us equal benefits but it is divided differently among each other So you may have much money, good health but you don’t have kids, and someone else have kids, friends and good health but poor and don’t own anything. It’s all about how you see these blessings and how you appreciate them and how you are grateful for each and everyone of them and how you focus on being happy for the things you have, not to be unfortunate for the things you don’t have  6. Write a journal: Writing a daily journal stating the things you were grateful for each day in addition to the learned lessons you went through will makes you feel how blessed you are and how worthy your day was. 7. Surround yourself with positive people: Being among negative people drain your energy because the negativity is infectious while being among positive people always recharge your energy, makes you happy, and encourages you to succeed. “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with” Jim Rohn

Dare to Start Your Business https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-start-your-business/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-start-your-business Thu, 30 Apr 2020 09:00:17 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2767 Are you hesitant whether you are the right person for running a business or not? Do you feel trapped in your full-time job? Are you excited by your ideas and want to transfer them to a profitable business? Don’t you know whether you have what it takes to start a business or not? Have you ever wondered how exciting running your own business?    A lot of people live their lives trapped in their jobs and don’t dare to set themselves free and start their own business, they always tell themselves that their jobs are a transition period and what always happened is that the transition period becomes a permanent situation because they aren’t courageous enough to leave a secured position with a stable salary to start a business that might or might not succeed. Another aspect that always demotivates the people who like to start a business is the social pressure of their family, friends and sometimes from the toxic people who pretend that they care while in fact, they don’t want them to succeed.  Sometimes the fear of failure plays a great role against the person’s desire to start a private business, besides the uncertainty and self-doubt people might experience when they consider the idea of starting their own business. Being afraid of the downsides of having a private business like being risky, being full responsibility, working 24/7 sometimes makes people hesitate to make the first move toward starting a private business.  It may seem to lots of people that the business owners are lucky, they don’t have a boss, can work whenever they want, they have full control over your their business, and they earn loads of money, and to decide whether the private business is good for you or not, you need to know both the downsides of the private business as well as their upsides.  Before you start a business you need to ask yourself some questions: Are you willing to work 7 days a week? Are you willing to make tough decisions? Are you ready to play different roles? Are you ready to live without a steady income? Are you ready to take risks? If you find all the above exciting for you, dare to start your own business! To start a business, you need to:  Believe in yourself: Have faith in yourself, your skills and talents that enable you to manage a business. If you don’t believe in yourself and your product/service, how do you expect others to trust you? Have confidence in your skills, talents, and abilities and take yourself seriously. Stop listening to your limiting beliefs: Replace the limiting beliefs and negative thought with positive supportive affirmations. You have to get rid of all limiting beliefs that label you negatively, like: You are a loser or You are not good enough, and replace them with empowering beliefs such as You are good enough, You can do it, and You have what it needs. Get over your fear of failure and replace it with a strong desire to succeed: Instead of draining your energy fearing of failure, have a strong will to succeed and have faith that there is nothing called failure; we either succeed or learn. Surround yourself with positive people: Being among positive people uplift you, motivate you and always remind you about your uniqueness, challenge you to be better and inspire you to go forward while staying away from the negative and critiquing people who drain your energy and cause you to feel stressed and overwhelmed. Be ready for the obstacles, the road is not paved: Any business has it’s ups and downs and it’s full of obstacles, you have to be prepared mentally and emotionally for any obstacles, or difficulties that may get in your way Don’t wait to be ready, start and you will learn along the way: If you keep procrastinating, having the excuse that you are not ready yet, you won’t start a business, and you won’t be perfect unless you start.  “Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can”       Arthur Ashe

Dare to Say No https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-say-no/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-say-no Thu, 23 Apr 2020 15:00:58 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2751 Do you struggle with saying “No”? Especially to the people you love? Do you feel it’s inappropriate to say “No” to people asking for your time? Are you a people pleaser? Do you feel that you are taken for granted? It is easy to say “Yes” to everyone asking for your time; if you don’t have a clear vision with a set of goals guiding your life;  If you don’t have a clear plan with a set of actions need to be done; If you don’t have a schedule that you discipline yourself to follow.    People say Yes for many reasons, sometimes because they are raised thinking that saying yes will make everyone love them and people always look for love. Also, sometimes because to be described as kind, helpful, caring, etc. People say Yes because their fear of being rejected, they are afraid of being dislikeable, described as unkind, selfish, impolite, self-centred.  Saying Yes to any request while ignoring your schedule, plans and goals will lead you to future resentment, what always happened especially with people pleasers is that they say yes for any request and then they feel that they are taken for granted, then the cycle of disappointments, regret starts.  It’s time to change these wrong beliefs, setting your priorities and acting accordingly is not selfish, refusing to do what you dislike is not impolite, having your time respected from others is your right, because your time is precious and it’s time to start thinking of yourself, your priorities and your life goals.    Say “No” to any kind of distraction: It’s okay to say No to any kind of distractions when you are busy doing any scheduled task or work commitment, like saying no to the unscheduled phone calls, friends outing requests, social media distractions You don’t have to feel shy or guilty saying No and remember how many times you asked for your friends time and it was okay for you to hear their “No” or their apologies for not being able to join you, so it’s okay to put yourself as a priority.  Say “No” to the gossips, small talks, and judging others: Instead of spending the time on nonsense talks, you can focus on the meaningful interactions that make you engage more with other people on a deeper level, to build emotional connections, and to have an interesting learning experience. Say “No” to Anything You Don’t Feel Like Doing: Don’t be a follower to other’s desires or preferences, do only what you feel like to do, and say “No” also to the places you are not comfortable being in, especially if it’s not aligned with your principles or values, don’t be afraid to be left behind, because the people who are not respecting your preferences and not accepting you the way you are, don’t deserve your friendship.   Say “No” to The Opportunities That Don’t Fit You: You don’t need to respond to every opportunity that comes across you, you need only to choose the opportunities that are suitable for at a certain time, so you won’t distract yourself from your goal.  The good opportunity is the one that serves your current goal and comes at the right time and is better than the other opportunities.   Tips and Techniques on How To Say “No” Gently, Without Feeling Guilty Saying “No” is a complete sentence  Say No without providing a dissertation on why you are saying no, you don’t need to explain and provide reasons every time you want to say No, and practice being assertive, not aggressive.     Say “No”, gently  There are lots of gentle ways on how to say No gently like: I am afraid I can’t do it today, maybe we can do it another day  Thank you for your kind invitation, I wish I could I would love but I am already overcommitted  Maybe next time Offer an alternative  If you are busy at a certain time and a friend asked to meet you, you can offer meeting him or her at another time, or when a friend invites you to a smoking place or a bar and you don’t prefer being in such places, and you would love to spend time with this person, you can offer meeting him/her in a different place.  Saying “No” needs practice  It’s not easy to say “No” especially for the people pleaser, but it’s like any skill, you just need to practice it many times and then you will feel comfortable saying it, and you can start practising alone before confronting people especially at the beginning by imaging the scenarios and how you are going to say no without feeling guilty. Having clear goals scheduled with a time frame It is so helpful for those who find it difficult to say no, that they start to abide themselves with a strict schedule although this is not a complete solution, however, it is one important step for if you don’t have a schedule, you will be following others schedules. “It’s only by saying “NO” that you can concentrate on the things that are really important.” Steve Jobs

Dare to Succeed https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-succeed/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-succeed Thu, 16 Apr 2020 16:08:24 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2739 Some people find it strange to talk about daring to succeed because they think that everyone wants to succeed but wanting to succeed differs from daring to succeed.  Everyone indeed wants to succeed but not everyone has the courage and can visualize themselves achieving great successes. A lot of people when their business starts to grow bigger than their imagination, they step back and can’t cope with success. It’s good to be a big dreamer but you also need to have the courage to change your dreams to reality. There are lots of success formulas, and everyone can tell you their success story from his own experience, and here we are going to highlight the most important steps to achieve the success you wish: Set Your Definition for Success  A lot of people go for coaches because they want to achieve success and for the coaching journey to go in the right direction, the person needs to provide the coach with what success means to them for the definition of success differs from one person to another.   Desire to Succeed  A lot of people are working only to make a living, not because they want to succeed or achieve goals if you want to succeed, you should have a strong desire to succeed, ability to deal with challenges and disappointments and courage to face the unknown. “The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire, and how you handle disappointment along the way.” Robert Kiyosaki      Let Go of Your Fears   Sometimes people let fears and doubts control their actions and reactions to life challenges and stop them for running after their dreams. You have to let go of your fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, doubts about your abilities because these are the negative emotions stopping you from succeeding. “The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear” Brian Tracy   Keep Believing You Are Much More Than You Think You Are You have to fully believe in your capacities to deal with different challenges and your abilities to achieve whatever you are dreaming of      “Believe you can and you are halfway there”         Theodore Roosevelt Dream Big  Life is full of ordinary people, who are average in everything. Dare to be an extraordinary person; a super successful person in the field you are passionate about and dream big and you’ll reach whatever you are dreaming of. Set Clear Goals for Success If you are putting in the effort yet not seeing much results, this may be due to lack of clarity.   Achieving success needs a clear answer to the following questions: What will make you feel successful?  How are you going to achieve success?  How are you going to measure success?   Have a Plan   People who approach their goals with order, consistency, timely framework, and persistence always achieve success. You should do things in order and don’t skip the less exciting steps, tackle the steps one at a time and appreciate the process as you move forward. “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practised every day.” Jim Rohn   Set a Deadline for Success Setting a date for the success of anything you want to achieve gives it a sense of urgency, and it motivates you to do the needed work to achieve it. You should put a realistic deadline, don’t underestimate or overestimate the time you allocate to accomplish the success you want to achieve.    Be Alert for the Good Opportunities  Every day holds new opportunities for success, be aware which one is good for you, don’t hesitate and be brave enough to grab the right opportunities for your growth or business because running after each opportunity might be distracting and not building for your success.   Have Multiple Role Models      Follow the steps of the successful people, study their success stories, read their biographies, and even learn from their failures at some stages. By having multiple role models we expand our exposure to different experiences and we see things from different angles.    Celebrate Small Wins Celebrating and rewarding yourself for the small wins boosts your positive mindset and giving you the green light that you are on the right track and motivates you to go for the next step. Rewarding yourself and celebrating achievements could be as simple as a bar of chocolate, taking a day off or travelling to a nice place.  Having a daring mindset motivates you to be successful, happier and you will appreciate your life more.

Dare To Change Your Career https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-change-your-career/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-change-your-career Thu, 09 Apr 2020 15:01:38 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2726 Are you having a career that makes you feel like something is missing? Do you feel unfulfilled while doing your current work? Do you feel you are trapped in your job just to make up a living? If you answer yes to any of the above questions, you need to read this article. Life is too short to live it with dissatisfaction, and it’s full of other options that you need to explore it, get focused and take an action. The good news is that the average person will change careers 5-7 times during their working life according to career change statistics, so don’t worry, you are not insane or irrational, you are still a normal person if you are thinking of shifting your career. Let’s differentiate between a job change and a career shift. The job change means you make a change within the same profession for different reasons, sometimes you are looking for a better physical environment, higher work level, different work content, nearer location, another boss or flexible working hours and many other reasons. While career shift means you are changing your profession, like changing from being a doctor to a T.V presenter, or from working as an engineer to a marketing strategist, and it usually happens when you feel that you are not in the right place and that you could give more in a different filed. There are some core beliefs about career shifting: Every job is temporary. Success doesn’t guarantee satisfaction. There’s only one person you need to impress with your career –it’s you! Your network is your net worth. It’s never too late Some people start their career thinking that this is the job of their dreams and when time passes they turned to be miserable, some dare to shift their careers, and other allow the fear to control their lives, fear of failure, fear of change, fear of imprecation and fear of success sometimes. Before you start taking actions toward changing your career, there are some steps you need to follow to live the life you want to live: Explore your personality type, talents, and strengths. There are many ways to create awareness about yourself, starting from scientific personality assessments like (DISC, strength finder, VIA, Enneagram, and many others), having a deep exploration talk with a coach, or a mentor and the simplest way is to list down the strengths and talents you think you are having. Find your passion, you need to know what really makes you happy while doing, and find out how could you turn it to be either a job or a profitable business. Don’t miss your true calling. Turn your fears into faith It’s all about overcoming your fears, the inner voice that always tells you, you are not good enough, you have a stable job, why the change? Your job is more prestigious, what is the value you might add? It’s too late and lots and lots of this kind of frustrating inner talk, on the contrary, you need to have faith in yourself, uplifting yourself, believing in yourself. Plan for the change: – Mentally: By being prepared mentally for the change and its obstacles – Financially: By being ready for paying the checks for sometimes. – Socially: By networking and finding connections in the field you wish to join. – Skillfully: Search for the educational opportunities and needed training that would bridge your background to your new field. Just take the action You will never discover whether your decision is right or wrong unless you do the change, and it’s not the end of the world if make a wrong decision. Life is a couple of trials and errors. Don’t wait to have an inspiration, start and you’ll be inspired.

Dare to Love Yourself https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-love-yourself/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-love-yourself https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-love-yourself/#comments Thu, 02 Apr 2020 15:41:07 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2709 There is a wrong belief controls the life of lots of people especially women which is self-love equals selfishness and once there is an opportunity for us to enjoy ourselves and be happy, we feel guilty and think about alternatives to be done for our beloved people. If you have an opportunity to enjoy a “me time”, you feel guilty, if you think of getting yourself a new dress, you talk yourself out of it and buy your son a pair shoes, instead. If a friend tells you to go to a hairdresser or getting a massage or doing any treatment, you hesitate and think that it is not important, although you are so stressed. We are always tough with ourselves when we do mistakes or when not doing the tasks perfectly and we keep judging ourselves for not being good enough and start the cycle of blaming which always ends up with more disappointments and more mistakes.  We usually allow the negative thoughts to control our lives, not only that, we sometimes navigate them in the social media of others by comparing ourselves to the people around us to the extent that sometimes we compare ourselves to people who are way ahead of us, which is very depressing and it confirms the negative thoughts we always repeat. And the usual scenario is you overdeliver and one day you realize that you were taken for granted and no one cares about you. You start blaming yourself and others for something you are responsible for and it was your choice and then you start to look around you for happy people, great achievers, people who are enjoying their lives and you start to be more miserable because you will think that you wasted your life for nothing. Please stop it!!! And start loving yourself, you deserve to be loved and being taken care of, you are responsible for your happiness not for the happiness of others, we are not encouraging you to be selfish but we want to tell you that sad people are conveying sadness, and happy people are conveying happiness, and if you want your beloved people to be happy, you have to start by yourself. 9 Key Tips to Practice Self-Love Treat Yourself With the Compassion You Would Treat a Loved One: We are always super kind to the people we love, stand for them in their hard times, or depressing moments, and always wish to have someone like us in our lives. Here you are!!!You are the best one for this mission, be kind to yourself as if you will be to someone you love. Have a dedicated “Me time”: Making time for yourself is essential, it’s your chance to reduce your stress level, build your mental strength and reenergize you. You could enjoy your “Me time’ in different things, starting from enjoying the silence, meditating, listening to music, reading a book, etc. Replace the Negative Inner Voice With a Positive One: Replace the negative inner voice with a positive one motivating one, and keep reminding yourself of talents you have, and your achievements and instead of telling yourself, “I am not good enough” keep telling yourself positive affirmations like:I am good enough I am a whole worthy person I can and I will I am the one for this mission, whatever the mission is Enjoy Nature: Enjoy nature, there is a secret about being in nature, it releases your stress, recharges your batteries and makes you feel happy. Work Out: Although workout is a way of losing weight and getting physically fit, it also changes your mood because when you exercise your brain releases hormones that make you feel happy. Take Time to Pamper Yourself:  It could be as simple as having a long relaxing bath after a tiring day, taking care of your skin, getting a new haircut for a fresh look, or going shopping for new clothes. Develop a Habit of Rewarding Yourself: Like when you achieve a goal, get rid of a bad habit, or do a lot of work, reward yourself. It could be as simple as getting yourself a beloved kind of chocolate, an exceptional dinner, or even a motivating self-talk. Forgive Yourself: One of the characteristics of humans is making mistakes, and you have to accept that since you are human you will make mistakes, and you may disappoint yourself or others and you are not perfect. Start every day by forgiving yourself, with the intention of not repeating the same mistakes. Try Something New: Every once in a while, experience something new and push your limits, life is full of adventures and new things to try, just be courageous and give it a go.

Dare to Be https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-be/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-be Wed, 25 Mar 2020 16:16:13 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2690 Being the best version of you and not comparing yourself to others is the essence of excellence. God made us different for a reason, and gifted everyone with certain qualities and talents to do different tasks and to reach the highest performance in different fields. We are born to complete each other not to compare ourselves to others, because the comparisons won’t be fair ever as we are born different, gifted with different qualities, raised with different families, having different experiences in life, having different thoughts that are driving us. We need to cooperate for the good of our lives; we should turn the jealousy to challenge and the envy to a true motive to be better. And here we will mention some practical tips on how to achieve being the best version of you; Love Yourself the Way You Are: Loving yourself means, accepting yourself the way you are, even accepting the parts and qualities that you hate in yourself because the change starts from the place of acceptance not from the place of hate, shame 0r Fear of not being loved. “When you know yourself you are empowered, when you accept yourself you are invincible” Tina Lifford Write your Own Story : Stop comparing yourself to others, instead visualize the person you would love to be and plan how you could reach there, and let your focus be achieving the best you can achieve instead of copying someone else.    “ Always be a first-rate version of yourself instead of a second-Rate version of somebody else” Judy Garland   Focus on the Talents and Traits that Make You Unique: Plan how you could use your unique talents to reach your goals, think about all the talents you are gifted even if you think it’s minor things like being good at making cupcakes, being patient, decisive or good listener, a lot of jobs needs just these traits and most of the big businesses started with such simple idea and now they are making millions.  Block the Negative Committee: Stop listening to the negative inner voice, which tells you, “You are not good enough”, switch off the critics inside you, and tune out. Success always starts from a place of self-confidence and self-esteem and self-worth, not from a place of defeatism. “Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love” Brene Brown    It’s Okay to Make Mistakes: It’s okay to make wrong choices, it’s okay to have some failures along the way, consider it as learned lessons and as long as you are still alive, you still have the chance to learn how to do it the right way. “ A person who never made any mistake never tried anything new” Albert Einstein   Step Out of Your Comfort Zone: Do stuff you are afraid to do, stuff beyond what you think you can do because when you reach your limits, your limits expand.  Always Connect with Your Why: Connecting with your why will be the reason to keep you going. Always think why you are doing what you are doing.  “People lose their way when they lose their why” Gail Hyatt  Put Yourself In A Peak State: To turn your brain on, you need to put yourself in a peak state, which means you are operating at the level you want to be, you need to set yourself a surge of urgency, something that makes you wake up in the morning passionately aiming to reach your higher potential.

Dare to Live Fully https://rehamfouda.com/dare-to-live-fully/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dare-to-live-fully Tue, 03 Mar 2020 18:55:19 +0000 https://rehamfouda.com/?p=2562 Life is too short, and the time goes won’t come again, we may have plans to do a lot, yet we waste a lot of time doing nothing, I am not writing this post to dwell on the negative, I am just grabbing your attention to the treasure you are having and hopefully you won’t waste it. In order to make better use of your time, you have to consider many things. First, you need to think about the wisdom behind our life and that we are here for a reason, and you have to figure out your role in this life based on the qualities you are gifted from God. “Life is too important to be taken seriously” Oscar Wilde Second, you should be grateful for all the blessings you have, being still alive reading this post is a bless, having a family is a bless, having friends even one is a blessing, being aware that you are having a lot of blessings is a blessing in itself.    Third, be mindful and enjoy life, living in the moment is the best thing you can give to yourself, be aware of each moment, enjoy it to the maximum, enjoy being with family and friends and enjoy also being alone having your private time, enjoy the nature and enjoy being in the crowd as well, enjoy every moment because the time that passes doesn’t come back again. Fourth, Have a plan on how you could benefit from each moment; plan your year, month, week and day, I tried both ways, live day by day and pre-plan my day, and I discovered that the accomplishment I did with a pre-planned day is way more than unplanned one, crossing the tasks that you put in your to do list one by one after finishing each one really makes you feel how good is the achievement and it motivates you to do more and more. “A year from now you will wish you had started today”  Karen Lamb Fifth, Design your ideal lifestyle, and acquire new habits that help you to fulfill your body, heart and soul like getting up early, doing a daily workout, eating healthy food, taking care of your body and skin, connect with nature, be kind to people around you, keeping a journal and many other good habits that make you live your life fully. Here are 9 strategies, and tools to get the best out of your time:  Wake up early There is something special about the first hours of the morning, waking up at least one hour earlier than everyone in your house is a gift you are giving yourself because it’s the quietest, undistracted, and productive time. If you want to get the best out of this precious time, plan what you need to do the day before, stay away from any distractions like checking your emails, messages and social media, start your day with moving your body even if you practice 10 min workout. Write a daily “To do List” Start your day with writing down the tasks that need to be done during the day, and preferably start with the most important tasks and then the less important, and also you need to pay attention to what needs to be done in the early morning and what could be done later in the afternoon. Put a Realistic “To do List” Sometimes people put a very optimistic daily list which tends to be unrealistic and not equivalent to the time they have, and accordingly they get disappointed when they couldn’t finish what they were planning to do, that’s why it’s better to make it realistic in order to feel the achievement and accomplishment. Set a Time Limit to Each Task Setting a time limit for each task and sticking firmly to it will prevent you from missing the achievement of the rest of tasks you were planning to do, so while you are planning your day, set a certain amount of time to each task and if it’s not done during this time, move to the next one and you can get back to it in any break you are having or at the end of the day. Use an Online Calendar The good thing about the online calendar is that you can access it from any device and you can keep track of your appointments, project deadlines, so you can plan your day around these fixed appointments and will prevent you from missing any of your important appointments. Focus on Completing One task at a Time Don’t multitask, unless it’s really necessary because focusing on completing one task then moving to another will make you feel more productive, and will get your work done quicker. Say “No” Gently Once you have a clear vision, inspiring goals and schedule to achieve these goals, you have to say “No” gently to any distraction and not to let anyone mess up your schedule, be assertive about your “No” but be gentle in the way you are saying it. For example, I am afraid I can’t join you today but we can schedule this outing after I am done with my project. Shut Off your Biggest Distraction  Shutting off your mobile or even putting it on silent mode and turning off all notifications that are not work related while doing tasks will give you the chance to focus on what you are doing and getting the best out of your time. Be Prepared for Waiting Times Having a book and a notebook always with you, will give you the benefit of using the waiting time wisely, for example if you are spending 45 min in transportation every day, it’s better to read your preferred books during this time, or if you have to wait for your doctor appointment, reading or writing your ideas, articles, or to do list will be a good use of your time. Your time is your treasure, value it, honor it and enjoy having it. “Time is more valuable than money, you can get more money, but you can’t get more time.” Jim Rohn
